Kiwi can T4W5

This week on Wednesday the learning space one year 6s we went to kiwi can but we had to wait until the year 5s come back to class.then while they got back to class went to line up outside to go to kiwi can but then me and the other boys we went first to go kiwi can.

Then the girls had to wait until me and the boys go inside to kiwi can.but I was in the line first because Mr Ogilive said that to line up outside for kiwi can.after that the year 6s went to go after us.

And then I had to knock on the door so we can go inside for kiwi can.when I did knock the door we went inside then we started to guess what is our theme for this week.Our theme for this week was respect.

Then once we answer what was our theme we started to play the game.but the Mrs mac showed us the rule of this game in this game we had to be into a group of pears the we had to hide one hand beside our back then you and your partner had to show the number that you are picking but you can not do number zero in the finals.

but I bet Acein,Diana,Xavier and Sione T.but then it was me,makali and Hosea we had to versus each other but Hosea bet me and makali. then we started to play a different game it was an activity game.

When we started playing the kiwi can leader had to play a song then we can dance or by using our fingers but when the kiwi can leader stops the music we had to grab on cone at a time then we had to put the cone on our own head.Then it was me,Charlize,Afatia and Liletina but I was versing Charlize but Charlize garbed the cone before the music stopped.

Then it was Afatia,Charlize and Liletina but one kiwi can leader garbed two different colour cone then it was one cone left so then one kiwi can leader started the music then it stopped so Charlize got it first and bet two people,so once it was finished we started to sit down and wait until one kiwi can leader put some points for us then we had all three of them number 50 points.

Then we wen back to class and finished our kiwi can blog post.

Reading|Fiction follow up T4W5

                                            LI:To comprehend fiction text.

"This week for reading in term 4 week 5 we learnt about fiction follow ups."then once we learnt about fiction follow ups Mr Wong showed us the google slide.On the google slide that says fiction follow ups Mr Wong said to us that the bulldogs,husky and the pitbulls we had to do four different slides.

The four different slide was Describe a character,Find the meaning,Ask question and Describe a setting, and those were the four slides that we had to do while finishing the four slides the lacy dogs and German Shepard had to do seven different slides.

And the seven different slides were called Describe a character,find the meaning,ask question,describe a setting,sequence events,keyword cloud and picture it then once we were all done we had to blog our follow up task.

While we had to blog it we had to publish to web then once we done the publish to web and other stuff we had to put on some a DLO,picture,title,learning Intention and the labels then we had to write what we learnt for this week in the follow ups and the other ones then we can publish the blogger.

LI:Is to blog our Ataaata wiki wha.

This week for Maori in T4W4 Mrs Fa Ody told us to be in a Group.then one group had to send us the google that Mrs Fa Ody had made.and Mrs Fa Ody said that in our email there was a link on our G-mail, then we started to go on the google document that mrs fa ody upload a link into the G-mail.

But my group was Diana,Liane,Shinaye,Makaili,Juel,Sasuke and David.then one person who send it was Juel.Juel send it to his group then Juel's groups went on it in the G-mail.once his group went on it we had to finish it but we had to type the translation then we had to copy and paste the maori words and paste it on the word called Macrons added.

While me and my group done it we had to blog it but first we had to screenshot the work that mrs fa ody send us it and put it in our own blogger after that we had to write the learning Intention.then we had to write the DLO,some picture,labels and the title then we had to write what we learnt for maori,What we did in Term 4 Week 4 then we had to publish the maori work.

Maths T4W3


This week for maths we learnt about a strategy quest.for the strategy quest we had to make a google slide then we can use a whiteboard or a maths book then we had to copy to different question on the big whiteboard the first question was called Alayah had 75 pens but she destroyed 29 of them how many dose she has left and the second question is called alayah had 5 pizza no friends to share each pizza has 8 pieces how many altogether.

Then once we done that we had to write about what we did for the strategy quest but we had to go on the publish wed then go on embed then press the word that says medium and make the size to small then copy and past the words not the words that the goole slide has been size small.

After that we had to write what we did for maths about the strategy quest then we had to put the photo,DLO,Title and the labels then we can publish it.

Cybersmart T4W3

LI:To understand legal use of image

This week for Cybersmart the LS1 year 6s we learnt about legal and illegal. then mr Wong showed us a google slide and how to get the google slide is to go on LS1 site and then press cybersmart that showed us how to get the google slide.

Then while you got on the cybersmart mr Wong said that we had to go term 4 week 3-6, then after that there will be a link that takes you into the slide and the slide is called smart and legal.

When Mr Wong got on it there is a slide that you had to do 1 definition,2 websites and 1 example.then we all started to do the smart and legal.and then we had to put one photo for legal and two photos for illegal then you need a link of the photo then write the license of the photo that you got you can get photo from Stock Vault,PixaBay,Pexels and other stuff that you can get the photos.

Then once we done all of the legal and illegal we had to blog the legal and illegal, but first we had to screenshot the cybersmart about legal and illegal then once we did screenshot the legal and illegal we had to write about what we learnt about legal and illegal then we had to do the DLO,The photo,Label and the title then we can blog the smart and legal.

Swimming|Kiwi Sport T3W9












LI:To learn the safety by using a Life                       Jacket.
For swimming we learnt the safety by using a life jackets so we all had to wear a Life Jacket by trying them if the fit you then once we put on our Life Jackets we have to sit at the deep and it is like 1.38m deep pool so we went to sit down on the concrete close to the 1.38m deep.

 but when we all sitting down on the concrete close to the 1.38m deep, we had to get in the 1.38m deep pool and then once we got in the deep pool we have to get some people in your group and have to lie down in the pool on some of your group.

While we done the first one then we done the second one that you have get a group and have to huddle by using your and your groups arm and try to put up to legs and then you have to swim to the other people that has a group you, your group and the person that has a group had to huddle again and have top do the same thing with your group.

Then we are doing the third one that you have to stand up on the concrete and put you arm the you solder and your hands on the back of your head and have to step and have to fall down in the pool straight down like a pencil.then you have to get up on the concrete again and have to jump to give the swimming teachers an high five because the swimming was finished.

for this activities we had to find informations about a rugby player. the rugby player I found informations about was sonny bill Williams. Our main objective for this task was to import information and research into this draw to showcase a rugby player.

For activities we had to research whats the same and whats is different about New Zealand and Japan. I found out that Japan is in northern Hemisphere. A similarity between these countries is that prime Minister of NZ and Japan are both politicians for their country. We did this to learn more countries.

Rugby Events | Rugby World Cup

LI:To learn about about history events in the past rugby world cup
This task called rugby events it's about reading so all the things we learnt in reading this year we had to use it to complete this task. We had to find three events in the past rugby world cups that we enjoyed and we had to add an image that was from that rugby world cup. We had to write down the day, event and what was the memories of that rugby world cup and after we do that we had to add a image from that day.

World Time T3W10

LI: To apply inquiry, literacy, numeracy to learn about the RWC.

This year's rugby world cup is lasting 44 days and is taking place in Japan at 6pm. The task we had to do was linking to maths. We needed to find out what time it would be in different countries when Japan's time showed 6pm. For example: If it was 6pm in Japan, what time would it be in Australia? We had to find out the answers to 7 different countries.

AM stands for/means Anti Meridian. PM stands for/means Post Meridian. Anti Meridian means before mid-day. Post Meridian means after mid-day. We learnt that if a country is really big or large with multiple cities and continents it would have different time zones.

swimming T3W8




This week in T3W8 for swimming LS1 year six we have to go to swimming in 11:20 but we have to finish our must do task list but we have to get change in our togs then put your Uniform on then we all went back to class and finish our must do.while it was 11:20 we all have to line up outside and wait until the roll is finish then we can walk to the bus then have to wait until the bus comes to take us to the panmure pools.

When the bus was here we went in the bus first and have to sit down all the way at the back then room four came in second so we all were in the bus then we started to go to the panmure pools while we got to the panmure pools ing the bus we all went out of the bus and started to line up outside and we all went to walk inside the panmure pool.

When we all were in the panmure pools we have to go and put our swimming bags in front of the wall and we have to take of our uniform and our socks and shose off then we all started to go to our swimming teachers and have to sit down but not in the pool you have to wait until the swimming teachers says your name on the role.then we all went in the pool and started to go on the platform.

Then we all started to get the mini board and we haver to hold it at the end then we have to swim by using our legs but we have to swim all the to the platform then once we all had a turn we had to have
do it again and have to swim back to platform then we done other staff.while we done other staff the swimming teacher said that it was finished now and then we all went out of the pool and went to get our and have to go in the changing room one has to go on the girls changing room and we have to go on the boys changing room and we have to get change then we have to help the room 4s.

while we all got change we went outside to get in the bus to go back to school.when we got there we went out of the bus and started to line up and we all walked buck to class and have to finish our swimming blog post and we have to write about swimming then we have to put some photos,DLO,labels,title and a learning intention then we can publish it.

Today for the Duffy Assembly there was a guest. the guest name was Jamie Wall.Jamie Wall works at the Maori television,Radio NZ,News hub and Stuff.Jamie wall goes to different countries like Japan,Italy,Argentina,France,England,Ireland and Australia

Then Jamie wall told us about when his dad showed him the book and the book was called Mens in black men in black is about when the all blacks goes to different countries to play against other teams and then Jamie wall showed us the whole class a movie about when Jamie wall went to watch like All Blacks,Warriors and all the other players that are playing rugby.

We learned how to not get distracted.Distracted means to fall out of focus many things can distract like people talking or physically annoying each other.To learn about distraction we played a game called Distraction Circle.in the game we have to make a group of five one person had to stand in the middle, and one person has to sing, one person have to tell a story,one person have to write a number on the persons back that is at the middle and one person had to do an Action but we have to distract someone that is in the middle.

This week for maths in term 3 week 5 we learnt about Perimeter and area we have to get into a buddy and we have to make shapes by using a Paper/Scissors and Sellotape then first shape we have to make is a square so we have to cut the paper using a Scissors then once we have cutting the paper we have to cut the square paper in half then we have to Sellotape the paper Square that was cutting half but we have to use sellotape under the paper square then once the the paper squares is cutting and sellotaped under the paper squares we have to make three different square then we have to cutting three different and sellotape the three different squares we have to go to make a google drawing but if you don't have a paper you can make five different squares but we have to copy the five different squares

Reading|What Questions T3W6

Today for reading we leant about the What Questions, Mr Wong showed us the google slide and but there was four words on the LS1 site on reading the four words were what is happening,what happened and what Usually happens, and those are the four different words the what is happening it means right now what happened means finished actions and the Usually happens mean happens most of the time.

Then there was a google slide show and we have to finish the what question but my group was bulldogs and we have to write only one sentence there are four slides to finish the what questions but once you have finished three google slide there are the last google slides and the last google slide is that you can create your own what Questions on Pixa bay then you have to make question but you can't write Who,when,where and how we only have to write an What questions then we have to show the teacher about the what question then you can blog it and write about the what Question then you can publish the what question.

This week for kiwi can the s1 year 6s we went outside to line up for kiwi can then the year 6s boys we went to walk first and the year 6s girls have to wait until the year 6s boys that are walking then the year 6s girls started to walk behind Vayan then we all started to walk into a single straight line.

While we got to kiwi can the year 6s boy we went inside and made four lines once we have done putting into four lines and we have sit down the year 6s girls came inside too and sit down on the mat into four lines.then we were doing a catchphrase then once we have finished our catchphrase and our theme was called Resilience and the topic was Emotions then we done a energiser the Energiser was Rats and rabbits.

for rats and rabbits we have to get a buddy then you have to challenge your buddy your buddy is the rat and you are the rabbit so there are a cones and you have to grab the cone if you do then you have to challenge another buddy but if your buddy got the cone then you are out and have to watched the other people.

Then once we finished playing Rats and Rabbits we all went to sit down on the mat and make four lines then we played another game.

Is that when you have a group the kiwi can leaders have to give you the paper, but My group was that we have to match the word colour that is on the paper but you have to find the maori word that matches the colour words the colour words are called Red,Blue,Pink,Black,Brown,White,Green,Orange and Purple those are to the 9 colour words in the paper.

And there are 9 different maori words and the maori words that matches the colour was
called Purū,Tōwhero,Māwhero,Whakaaniwaniwa,Waiti,Kārerarera,karaka,pāpura,hāura then we rote
then once we finished the Activity we went back to class to finish our kiwi can then we have to write the blog post and i think that when you write the words backwards and they were hard to do then once we write about kiwi can we have to publish the kiwi can blog post.

LI:To identify the four areas for print design.

Today for Cybersmart the Ls1 year 6s we learnt about Print Design Rules,Then Mr Wong show the slide and there are four words and the four words are called Composition,Text,Colour and Layout.

And then once Mr Wongs finished showing to us we have to go on the Ls1 site and go on that has a word call Cybersmart then you have to make a copy of the Print Design Rules for Cybersmart then there were some Instructions.

And then the Instruction were Look at the slide,Decide what area is begin used,Move the slide behind the correct section at the end of the slide deck ( Composition,Text,Colour and Layout). and Delete the incorrect emoji, Thumbs up or Thumbs down.

Then once you have finished doing all of the cybersmart we have to blog it and then write about what learnt and how you learnt it then you can publish the Cybersmart.

This week for Kiwi sport in Term 3 the year 6s we went to go to swimming and we have to get into our groups my group. I was Livvy's we did was Streamline kicking,Star fish and we floating on our back and we had to put our stomach out of the water.

Today for reading me and my reading group we were doing the sunshine classic.then we started to login on our username and our password.Then we have to read the book by our selves.

And my book on sunshine classic was called Mrs Muddle Mud Puddle, and then we have to read the book first then after reading the book first we have to do some Question then we have to record the book then you have to read it if its recorded, and there are only two question on the sunshine classic.

But the book was about when Mrs Muddle Mud Paddle put some cake in the Basket then she went to the haunted house instead going to her friends house, and then she met a wild Dragon, A roaring lion, Giant bat,flapping ghost and bert.

Then Mrs muddle mud puddle gave him a some nice cake then she went back home. and then you have to screen shot the cover of the book then do the DLO, Learning Intention,titles and labels then you have to write about what you learnt for reading then you can publish the reading blog poster.

Min lab|Motat

This week for Motat Ls1 and some of the class we went inside and the teachers were doing the roll.after the roll we went in the school bus but we have to get our bags but to make sure we don't take our chrome book in their bags. and we all went to Motat, and it was an half an hour to get to Motat. Once we got to Motat we went inside and there was some guest and then we all put our bag in the big black shelf.

Then it was only the Ls1 then went into a group of 13 But 14 people on  Mr Ogilvies group and 13 people in Mr Wongs group then we went for an explore around motat then we saw Cars, Motor bikes, fire trucks, motat village, and olden days school, pump house, Print shop, telephones shop, the olden day church, Work shop and old computers.

Then we started finishing our lunch then room 5 and ls2 went around motat while we were make a electric car by using Cardboard, Scissors, Tape, Motor, Propellor, body, four wheels and fans. then we have to be a buddy with someone and then my buddy was Acein then me and Acein we were making a Electric cars and then we all had 30 minutes to finish it. but the 30m timer was starting then we went to get some materials and we all started to make a Electric car.

But then the 30m timer was finish then we went to go to do another activity and we have to make a spot light by using some materials so the materials is the motor just like to make an Electric car.then we once we were make a spot light, but we have to get into a group of three and my group was Jordan and Acein so Me and my group we have to turn on the small light and after turning the small light on the motor.

We have to build the spot light by using the Connect blocks then we have to put one material in the motor and then put the motor and the small light on the Connect blocks.and then the motat trip was finish and I enjoyed the motat trip because we were look at all of the stuff at motat then we went back to the school bus and we went back to class to finish our motat trip.

Writing|Persuasive text

 
LI:To write a persuasive text.

Today for writing we were doing persuasive text and we have to find with is better so then we went outside and we have to be in a group.then we can start the handball by using the high bounce ball.

Then once every group had a turn on the high bounce ball then the group have to sit on the footpath.then we started the tennis ball and we starting to play handball with the tennis ball then we done the same thing so if the group already had a turn then you and your group have to sit on the footpath.

Then we went back to class and we were talking with one is better then we have to comment on the google slide and then we have to write a persuasive review and then there was four word and the four words was called Opinion, Reason, Explanation and Opinion.

then some of the people was commenting the high bounce ball because the high bounce ball is easier to skim other people but some other people was commenting about the tennis ball because the tennis balls are brighter than the handball.then once we were finish commenting the high bounce ball or the tennis ball then you can show it to the teacher and blog the ball review then you have to write the sentence, DLO, title and the Labels then you can publish the blog post.

Kiwi sport|Swimming

LI: to learn the water safety.

Today for swimming the ls1 year 6s and Room 2 we went outside then we went in the bus when it was 11:20 but we went in the room 5s toilet room to get change and put our tog in our school Uniforms.

then we have to go in the school bus when Room 2 was in the school bus.then mrs events was starting the roll that was going to Panmure pools.

While we got to the Panmure pool we all went out of the school bus then we started to line up outside at the back of the panmure pools then we started to walk inside the panmure pools.

After we all went inside we were put our togs at the front of the wall and we went to take off our Uniforms we have to swim with our togs then me and some of the other people we went to sit down while we wait until the swimming teacher says your name on the paper then you can get in the pool.

then we were doing different kind of swimming safety. and then we went to do a challenge and it was group A and Group B. so then me and the group A we were the first group to find three swimming toys then three people have found the swimming toys.

then group B went to have a turn to find and catched the swimming toys but some of the people went to get the swimming toy and they found the swimming toys then Me, Jordan & Diana we went to have a last turn to catched the swimming toy then I found and the other two people found it too so we went out of the pool then we went to get changed. 

then once we were finish we went back in the school bus and even room to have finished getting changed then we went back to class to finish our swimming blog post

Kiwi Can

Theme - Resilience
Topic -  Emotion
Activity - Silent Emotion Disco
Kiwi can says - If you feel it,Let it out
Don't doubt,get it all out.

Today on Wednesday lS1 group B we went outside for kiwi can then we went to line up.and then we went to kiwi can and then our theme was called Resilience and the Topic was called Emotion then we were doing the kiwi can says then the kiwi can says is called if you feel it,let it out don't doubt,get it all out.
then once we were finish the kiwi can says we were doing some Activity and the Activity was called Silent Emotion Disco.

So the part of the Game is to be in three groups but only the kiwi can leader put us in a group of three but the others have group of 4 so then we all have to be Silent and do emotion on Silent Emotion Disco game.

Then after that were doing another game and the game is that on person have to wear the kiwi can leaders head phones then we have to do the Emotion that if one kiwi can leader says different kind of Emotion.Then we all went to sit down in the floor and line up into four line or five lines.then we were doing some GKQ then it have to be 4 groups to stand up so the first 4 groups was up first and the buzzer was a dab and if the person get the correct Question and if you are the winner then you are safe but the others was the winner too so one person answer Correct. then we went outside to finish our kiwi can blog post.

Duffy Assembly

 This week all the other class went in the hall for duffy Assembly then we saw three duffy Guest and then one duffy guest was doing the guitars and then the guest started using the Guitars then we were all singing the duffy song. and i enjoyed the duffy song.

Then we were watch three duffy guest doing a fun show the show was called magic blocks its like a game and then the duffy guest was pretending.then one person went to put the pink glasses then on duffy guest went into the game also called magic block but it was not real life it was all fake,

After that also one duffy guest was wear a suit to pretend that its is the the magic blocks but there was another duffy guest wearing a yellow , orange suite and a yellow hemet the person thats wearing just like a wearing a worker suite.

And then the duffy guest that wearing a fake worker suite was pushing the blocks the one duffy guest began to full over then the the duffy said brick the one was running away from someone and the other one was chasing after him then the duffy guest started wearing a different fake suite the we all said yes to him to wear a pirate suite that was fake. 

but it was locked so he was wearing a fake chicken suite then its was the end of the duffy show so we all went back to class then we went to finish our duffy Assembly.

LI:How to learn skimming reading.

Today on Wednesday for reading mr Wong taught Bulldogs & Husky to do skimming and we have to do a challenge and the time will be 2m until the skimming for reading is finish then if the timer stops then don't keep typing on the computer.

After finish the Skimming reading you can do the flipgrid and then you have to get the book and the book is called Budgies then once the flipgrid is finish you can blog it.
  

African drumming

LI: to learn the African drumming.

Johnny from Rhythm Interactive taught us four rhythms on the djembe.

Johnny taught us by sining and clapping the rhythms for us to copy.Ore of the call and return tunes was "I like chocolate cake "," so do I'.

Johnny teaches a message to children, that message is that" together we can make a change.
